Hello NYC!!

Day 1: We arrive in New York! Wow, are we so tired. We just came off a plane flight from Denver and had to wake up at 4:30 to make the shuttle ride to the airport. It is 10:00 AM right now because of time change so we are going to get some lunch because we are SO hungry (and tired).  So we check into our hotel room which is barely big enough to fit us and take a quick shower. Then we go exploring! We walk to a restaurant that my mom had planned before, which happened to be about 45 minutes away, but New York is fun to explore so we of course just walk.  My mom told us along the walk that we were going to this restaurant called “Stardust.” So apparently, people that are good actors and singers that wanted to get a job on Broadway come to this place to be waiters. They sing songs, they also have lots of entertainment, and awesome milkshakes. We ordered and then watched all the waiters sing. It was incredible! They even had confetti! Our First Big Tramp in New Zealand

A couple days ago we did a 5 hour hike in the Abel Tasman National Park! First, we took a 2 hour boat ride to get to the hiking place.  On the way we ate lunch and saw seals on rocks!! There was about 5 seals, they were so cute!  Then when we got there we hiked for about 3 hours and then we met some people from Colorado! We did not actually know them we just started hiking and talking together.  When we came to a stop we firgured we did not have a lot of water. but then there was this place we could fill our water bottles so we filled them and went on with our hike.  Then we went to a waterfall, called “cleopatra’s pool”. We swam in it and then did the last hour of the hike that took us to the beach.  Soon the boat arrived and it took us to the place they picked us up, but you will not belive this, we saw Whales!
